How Can YOU Help?

The need is great, the situation is dire, but the future is changing.

We are constantly gathering together those who are interested in joining the teams to travel to Uganda, as we take teams each year.  If you would like to join us, we would love to hear from you.  Caring people will be coming from different parts of Australia to link up in Queensland from where we will travel together and complete our humanitarian work for some of Uganda’s 1.8 million orphan children.  

Everyone of us possesses different gifts for which we have been blessed.  As you can imagine Mission Watoto Australia has considerable needs and we are offering every one  an opportunity to support us by using some of your personal strengths or gifts in whatever way you might know how.

Not everyone can become a travelling team member and have the joy of personnally experiencing the building of a future for young orphan children.  There are many reasons for this which can be attributed to medical, financial, family and other genuine concerns.  However, if you feel you would like to support us in whatever way you feel might assist, then we would be most grateful.  In return, you would be just as blessed as those who lay the bricks in the Watoto village, for you have given of yourself to help others.

There are many ways that you can help Mission Watoto Australia. You might have the skills to help us fundraise the AU$38,000 needed to pay for the building materials used to construct a house. You may be able to sponsor our building project by donating enough for something as small as a brick, to something as large as an entire wall. You can even raise awareness about what we do just by subscribing to our news feed (enter your email address in the sidebar to subscribe) or telling a friend. And you can support the people that support us.

By helping and supporting the work of Mission Watoto Australia you will be giving hope and a future to children who are far less fortunate than our own.  Ask not “What can I do to make my life more comfortable?” Instead, please ask yourself,  ”What can I do to help save the lives of disadvantages and vulnerable children?” If you are uncertain about how you can help, yet are still prepared to do what you can, please contact us info@missionwatoto.org and let us discuss how you can be an integral part of our work.
